Learn to separate your emotions from what you need to do

Almost everyday I would post inspirational messages on my Facebook page (estonswabypage), my instagram page (@biblewaymag), on my two twitter page (@biblewaymag @estonswaby), but this morning I was just not in the mood to write anything.

You know that feeling, those days when you wake up and don’t feel like doing anything. You do not feel like getting up out of bed, you do not feel like reading your Bible, praying, doing just about anything you have to do.

And I did give in to this feeling…………….. that is until one of my coworker came and talk me out of it.

There will be days you do not feel like doing anything. But you need to learn to separate your emotions from what you need to do. Think about the end product, what do you hope to achieve and let that motivate you.

When you have the end product before you, the thought of what you need to accomplish will push you to get up and get it down.

What about your dreams?
Maybe you feel like giving up on your dreams because it is just too hard or a number of feelings that have you bound, I am not good enough, I will never accomplish anything, I am not important, I do not have what it takes, and so forth. These thoughts can keep you from being your best and from moving forward. Think about what it will be like to have your dreams accomplish. Maybe you want to be financially free, think about what it would be like to have the money you want to take care of your family.

Maybe you want to have your own business. Think about what it would be like to be your own boss and the type of life you could have.

What ever you need to do don’t let your emotions stand in  your way of what you need to do and the life that is possible. If you keep allow your emotions to stand in your way you will not get anything done. You will not at all times feel like doing anything, but you have to learn to rise above it.

The feelings will come, that’s okay, it is what you do when it comes. I felt like a burden lifted when my friend came and talked me out of not making these post.

Don’t let your emotions stop you from being great and doing great things
